 <p>The Rural Arts Management (RAM) Institute is a training and educational program designed to benefit artists and performers\, organizational representatives\, and creative entrepreneurs in rural communities throughout the Upper Midwest.</p>
 <p>If you are a rural arts manager\, administrator or entrepreneur\, the Institute will help you increase your personal and organizational effectiveness and sustainability\, understand the complexities involved\, and develop comprehensive leadership skills to succeed now and in the future!</p>
 <p>Six monthly sessions provide essential background information\, skills\, information\, and connections needed to develop and manage entrepreneurial\, successful\, and sustainable arts\, cultural and creative organizations in rural communities. The Institute gives participants training in thoughtful management theory and practical\, applicable leadership experience\, and help them learn to manage entrepreneurial\, successful\, and sustainable arts\, cultural and creative organizations in rural communities.</p>

 <p style=\\"font-size\: 0.9em\; line-height\: 23px\; \\">Online donors can be summed up with a phrase that would make an excellent soap opera title\: The young and the generous. They tend to be under 40 and their gifts are around $100. Obviously\, we want more donors like them. They account for most of our acquisition\, and they are a leading source of new revenue for most nonprofits.</p>
 <p style=\\"font-size\: 0.9em\; line-height\: 23px\; \\"><b>The trick is getting online donors to stay once they give.</b>&nbsp\;In a study released in 2009\, Target Analytics found they have lower retention rates than offline donors. And when they do give again\, which roughly a quarter do\, according to the study\, it may not be online but often offline.</p>

In addition to working with existing boards\, Tami has developed boards in new JA territories including Madison\, LaCrosse\, and the Chippewa Valley where she got her nonprofit start 17 years ago.</p>
