Thursday, March 25th
Executive directors and development staff often wish their board members; trustees and other volunteers took a more active role in the fundraising and development process. Most Board members and volunteers wish fundraising was not even on the list of board responsibilities!
The Madison Chapter of AFP is pleased to present this day-long workshop led by Marcy Heim, CFRE, professional speaker and development consultant along with Boris Frank, Executive Director of the Vilas Zoo and long-time non-profit consultant.
The workshop will also feature Non-Profit Board members, Jim Slattery, Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital Board, Betty Custer, Financial planner and board leader for the Madison Ballet, the Lussier Center among many others, for a frank discussion about this shared work.
The workshop designed for BOTH staff and volunteers to participate in TOGETHER for a tour around the cycle of successful development, determining the actions each can take along the way to create the positive and productive relationships that lead to increased support for your organization.
Questions concerning the workshop learning objectives may be directed to Marcy Heim, Workshop Chair at marcyheim@tds.net or 608-772-6777
Questions concerning registration may be directed to Sonja Patterson, AFP Chapter Administrator at 204-6077 or Madisonafp@yahoo.com.
