The topic: Social media - what to do with it - what it means for the arts, and for work and life
The description: Are you part of the next generation of Wisconsin arts leaders? Join Arts Wisconsin, Cultural Alliance of Greater Milwaukee, and Milwaukee Artists Resource Network for the Wisconsin Emerging Arts Leaders Third Annual Summit on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009. This all-day summit will address the hot topic of social media, asking how arts professionals can use the growing number of applications and internet resources to advance key goals in the arts (and in their lives!). Through panel presentations, case studies, hands-on experimentation and lots of great conversation, participants will tackle these exciting issues while networking with peers and colleagues from around the state. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at the brand new Lueders Florentine Opera Center-a great starting point for exploring the arts-rich RiverWest area of Milwaukee at the end of the day
The people: Wisconsin's 21st century generation of arts leaders - creative young artists, performers, administrators and entrepreneurs from around Wisconsin
The purpose:
