The University of Wisconsin- Madison Center for Nonprofits is launching its
series of 2009 Communiversity sessions on Monday, March 2nd at 5:15 pm.
Funding for these sessions is generously provided by the Alliant Energy
Foundation.
Join us for the March 2nd presentation and discussion on researching and
seeking grants through the UW's The Grants Information Collection (GIC).
This collection is a free, community-centered resource located at UW's
Memorial Library that provides access to essential grant-seeking
databases. Community members and UW affiliates are able to access these
resources free of charge.
Nikki Busch, Grants Research Librarian, will provide a live
demonstration on how to effectively use the most popular grant-seeking
databases. Specifically, this session will look at: resources available
at the GIC; things to consider before researching grants; and effective
approaches to researching potential funders.
