Free Roundtable: How Your Internal Controls Can Prevent Fraud, Milwaukee

02/16/2010 - 11:30am
02/16/2010 - 1:00pm

Adequate internal controls are essential to reduce the likelihood of fraud within your organization.  Join us for this roundtable as we discuss the components of internal control and how they can be implemented for organizations of all sizes.  We will also discuss real examples of new ways that frauds are being perpetrated and how your internal controls can prevent, or detect, these from happening.

Our discussion leader, Mike Hablewitz, is a manager in Wegner CPAs & Consultants Assurance Department. Since joining the firm in January 1999, he has worked on the audit staff with a focus on not-for-profit organizations and compliance.  Mike has also worked on for-profit engagements and therefore has knowledge and experience working with a variety of organizations.  He annually attends continuing professional education seminars on accounting, compliance and tax issues related to tax-exempt organizations.

The Wegner Non-Profit Roundtable group meets bi-monthly from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
