Board Presidents confront a variety of difficult problems and face unique challenges. As a special spring seminar, BoardStar will offer training designed solely for the Presidents (or Chairpersons) of nonprofit Boards of Directors. Join George and other Board Presidents as they gather in Bay View for “President’s Spring Training”.

  • Motivate the Board and maintain its interest
  • Work with the Executive Director
  • Provide leadership to the Executive Committee
  • Make meetings more effective
  • Supervise the committee chairs
  • Raise money from the Board

Pat Wyzbinski has consulted with more than 3,500 nonprofit organizations over the years through her firm, Management Cornerstones Inc. She has served as the Advisor to the Nonprofit Management Fund for 15 years.
 
This is one of seven workshops in the Board Governance Workshop Series, presented by BoardStar in partnership with UW-Parkside's Nonprofit Development Program. Organizations completing five or more of these workshops will be given Recognition of Completion of the Board Governance Series.
