Introduction to Board Governance

Board orientation returns its investment many times over for the organization, the board and the community.  This essential workshop serves as a starting point or a refresher course for anyone who serves on a nonprofit board and the manual provides a valuable ongoing reference.  Participants learn the fundamental roles and responsibilities of board service, with emphasis on the board's governance role, including policy and planning..

Eloiza Altoro-Acevedo has more than 10 years experience in grassroots community organizing, leadership development, and public policy, with emphasis on issues that address the Latino community.
