Increasing the Impact of your Strategic Planning

This one-day session is a practical introduction to the key concepts and techniques of strategic planning. Learn how to design an effective planning process that fits your organization's needs, results in a flexible and achievable road map for your nonprofit and leads to increased mission impact. You will leave with a clear understanding of what your nonprofit can gain from strategic planning. The session is geared to the executive staff and board members who must act as a leadership team in the planning process. This highly interactive session will provide participants with opportunities to experience some of the critical activities of the strategic planning process through a combination of small group activities, small and large group discussion as well as individual reflection. The session will also feature extensive handouts including planning forms, worksheets, and examples of strategic planning documents.
