This luncheon, a celebration of the established National Day of Service and Remembrance by the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, is a must for nonprofit leaders of all positions -- whether a volunteer, board member, program staff, or executive -- allowing you time for connecting with your peers, thoughtful dialogue and celebration. No matter your role or responsibility in your organization, you will return to your work reinvigorated and armed with new knowledge to respond to these uncharted times.
In place of the daylong conference for grantmakers and grantseekers, the Donors Forum of Wisconsin invites you to join grantmakers for a special luncheon with showcasing grant funders and grantees that have creatively worked together to provide an innovative solution to a community needs. We are proud to offer you a high-value and low cost day of learning that includes:
Keynote presentation by Independent Sector President and CEO Diana Aviv on how nonprofits and foundations can and do work with each other, the business sector, and with government to build a dynamic, compassionate, and sustainable future for Wisconsin Ms. Aviv is a leading national and international speaker on emerging trends within the sector, the financial state of the nonprofit community, public policies affecting charities and foundations, the role of civil society in democracy, and civic engagement.
The presentation of our Wisconsin Good Grant Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation honors funders and grantees that have creatively worked together to provide an innovative solution to a community need, as well as recognize the grantmakers and grantees featured in our successful series of Snapshots of Philanthropy.
Each attendee will receive a copy of our premier Wisconsin State of Philanthropy Report, the first local publication of its kind, the report provides valuable and timely information on charitable giving for the state and an inside look into how foundations operate.
In light of many organizations’ budget cuts and overall resource constraints, we have added a multiple registration discount, a reduced registration rate for multiple attendees from the same organization.
