Nonprofit Fundraising

Experience the creation of a Development Plan, including how to incorporate sponsorships,grants, individual donors, special events, major gifts and endowments. Learn how to involve other staff and Board members in the process, key principles of working with volunteers and how to develop gift policies, and strategies for using the Web in fundraising.

Presenter
HEIDI L. FISHER has worked in the nonprofit sector professionally for over fifteen years. Currently she serves as the Director of Chippewa Valley Technical College Foundation, Inc. and CVTC Alumni Association. Heidi holds a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University in St. Paul Minnesota. Heidi has been recognized with the Senn Award (United Way of Greater Eau Claire, 2008), David G. Anderson Community Builder Award (UWEC, 2007), Public Administration and Management Scholar Award (Hamline University, 2004) and the Administrative Volunteer Award (LVCV, 1996). Heidi resides in Eau Claire, WI.

It is possible to register for the full series online but will require you to register for each workshop individually and will take a little more time.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to 5 business days before a program’s start date, and we will refund your payment less a $25 administrative fee per workshop. If you cancel fewer than 5 business days prior to the program start date, no refund will be given. You may substitute another person for your registration at any time. Call the Continuing Education Office (715-836-3636/toll free 866-893-2423) for assistance. University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or other administrative reasons, as well as the right to limit enrollment to ensure quality. In the event of a UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education cancellation, a full refund will be issued. Our liability is limited to the refund of the program fee.
