Nonprofit Financial Management & Reporting
Find out what it takes to have an effective fiscal system. You will learn about budgeting for nonprofit organizations, internal controls — accounting and financial policies and procedures, preparing nonprofit financial statements, nonprofit accounting and tax issues, and understanding the role of the independent certified public accountant and the audit process.
Presenter
SCOTT R. HAUMERSEN, CPA, is Managing Partner at Wegner LLP CPAs & Consultants with over 25 years experience providing accounting, auditing and not-for-profit advisory services to over 500 nonprofit clients throughout Wisconsin. He is skilled in providing various forms of financial analysis and budgeting, as well as cultivating relationships between management, boards and stakeholders. He was recently elected to the founding boards of Wisconsin Nonprofits Association, the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, and the Leadership Council of the UW-Milwaukee Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management.

Please note: If you would like to register for the full series, we suggest you complete the printable registration form and fax it to us at 715-836-5263. It is possible to register for the full series online but will require you to register for each workshop individually and will take a little more time.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to 5 business days before a program’s start date, and we will refund your payment less a $25 administrative fee per workshop. If you cancel fewer than 5 business days prior to the program start date, no refund will be given. You may substitute another person for your registration at any time. Call the Continuing Education Office (715-836-3636/toll free 866-893-2423) for assistance. University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment or other administrative reasons, as well as the right to limit enrollment to ensure quality. In the event of a UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education cancellation, a full refund will be issued. Our liability is limited to the refund of the program fee.
