Presented by UW-Parkside Nonprofit Development, this year's conference will feature keynoter, Bliss Browne, addressing "Growing the Strengths of Nonprofit Organizations." Bliss describes herself as "a contagiously hopeful mother, priest, former corporate banker and President of Imagine Chicago, an organization she founded in 1992 to create an economy in which nothing and no one is wasted." Her strengths-based approach to organizational and community development work has inspired social innovation projects on six continents. Bliss is a graduate of Yale University, Harvard University (Masters of Divinity and Theology) and the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. She was a Rockefeller Fellow from 1974-75 and a Kellogg National Leadership Fellow from 1989-91. She is the author of numerous journal articles and three books.
